MEETING MINUTES
January 27, 2009
Members Present: Don Metz, Frank Bowles, Jay Smith, Simon Carr, Judy Brotman.

The meeting was officially opened at 8:00 am by Co-Chair Don Metz.
- The minutes of January 13, 2009 were re-approved.
- The minutes of January 20, 2009 were approved.
Steve Campbell, as representative of the Library Space Transition Management Team, attended the meeting to check-in on the progress of the new building. The Library Trustees are just trying to stay current with respect to Library utilization of the soon-to-be-vacated space and looking to address any post-vacancy issues.
Library items to be resolved included re-keying the main entry door lock, and interior door locks, running a main data line downstairs from the main room, usage policies for the meeting rooms and the actual date the space will be available to the Library.
The Library has put the escape-well work on hold following the remediation drainage work and reconstruction of the side wall.
- Don Metz reported on the new building progress:
The windows are almost all installed, cap insulation has been completed and the walls have been flash foamed.
The final foam will be installed after the wires are pulled.
Specific police issues continue, and are being discussed and resolved between the Chief, Tim Estes and Don and Frank.
General building security issues will be reviewed by the LTOC and Library Trustees following a conversation with Tasco.
Generally, the project is coming along nicely.
The meeting adjourned at 8:25 am.
